Brecken is now 4 months

Brecken is now 4 months old and is wonderful. He has been so easy. He goes along for the ride. Sometimes he is easy to forget about when you have two other kids starving for attention. I have tried to make a special effort to tells the girls I need to sit and hold Brecken and play with him and they will have to wait. He is not sleeping all night like he was. I think he is just going through changes and developmentally his is right on schedule. I went back to work on Jan 3 and he has been great at night for Brian. He says Brecken gets up at 1:30 and at 6:30 to eat. I pump at work and he is taking the bottle great for Brian as long as it is breast milk. Not so good with formula. The transition has not been bad for everyone. I think that as time goes on it might become more difficult. I go to work at 6 pm and come home around 6:45am. I usually feed Brecken and then I am off to bed. Brian is so helpful in that he stays home until 12 noon and then goes to work. The schedule works for us and I feel like we are a team. I work two shift a week and it is ok.
Brecken has some of the cutest expressions.

He still spits up a lot. But this doesn't seem to bother him. He is a lot more alert this past month and actually will stay awake long enough to play for a hour or so.

He still is enjoying tummy time. My girls cried the minute I put them on their belly. Brecken will last about 20 min and then puts his face down in the pile of slobber and cries.

Brecken now is 26 1/4 in tall -90%
18lb 4 oz big, very big -95%
head 43 cm -70%
He is growing fine and I can't keep up on the clothes, he is in and out of them very quickly. He loves hanging out with daddy and watching the Utes. What a game!!

Christmas Morning

The snow was amazing and the kids have had fun playing in it. I am not so sure Stella is have much fun in this picture. I think her bottom is cold.

Stella loved riding around the house with her new scooter.

Brecken was happy just watching the chaos.

Emery was having the best time. She liked to control which present was opened first. The girls woke up around 8:45 and we took our time opening presents this was the first year they did not just tear into everything. The actually took time playing and looking at each gift.

They both had great attitudes about Christmas and it was the best watching the looks on their faces. They were so happy. Emery later that day said. "I was kind of good and kind of not so good, I don't think Santa should have got me so much. I think some of it should be for next year also, so I will try to be good all year" It was so funny to see her worry about if she was good or not. We told her to just go and have fun with the toys.

Busy Christmas

Christmas Eve at Grandma Kathy's was great this year. Emery love everything she received and the kids learned about the true meaning of Christmas. We played BINGO for the exchange and it was a blast.
Our little nativity. The girls had so much fun dressing up and acting out the story of Jesus.

My three little angles.

Aunt Janie surprised us and showed up at the family party. This was exciting for the girls to see her again. They are always talking about her and Emery remembers so much about Janie and her home in California. Emery was about 4 when we went to visit her. We love you Janie.

Well Brian also turned 33 years old in December. With his birthday a week before Christmas he was such a good sport. We made him a big cookie because he hates cake. We took him to dinner at his favorite restaurant. He had picked out something the week prior for his birthday. But that night I gave him a t-shirt from Harmon's no less that my sister could not believe I bought it at Harmon's. He loved it and he is so easy to please. He never makes a big deal about his birthday. Hopefully this was fun enough. We love you babe!!
