Brecken 2 months old

Hanging out in the morning with sisters.

Brecken is now 2 months old and is a delight to have around. These are a few other pictures I wanted to post.
What a handsome man.

Brecken is 2 months old

Brecken is 2 months old now and the time has gone by so fast. I love his personality and it has been fun to see how he has grown. I took him to the doctor and his weight is 15 # even (99 percential) my girls were 5 months when they weighted this much. His height was 24 1/2 (95 pecential) and head was 41.4 cm (50th percential). The doctor said he looks great. During the exam Brecken spit up and the doctor said he has reflux. I told her I tried prevacid and didn't notice any difference, she then said is he fussy and I said no. She said he has happy reflux! Most babies are extremly fussy with reflux but not Brecken. He does great at night and during the day is usually content with our bussy life. We love and adore him. This is him hanging out with mom watching Grays Anatomy.

Changing Brecken is a hoot. He smiles and makes all kinds of expressions during the diaper change. It is so funny to see his expressions.

He also loves the swing in the morning he usually takes a nap in the swing while I get me and the girls ready for the day. Stella thinks he needs the football by his side constantly. She is training him for football camp early. She insists that he must be a football player for halloween next year with a jearsey.

Stella frequently wants to hold him and begs all day when he is awake. She is alway wondering where he is and what he is doing during the day. She wants to kiss his hands and forehead. It was hard on her last 2 wks ago when she got sick with a head cold we constantly told her no and she can't kiss him. She was upset and worried her brother would be mad at her if she did not kiss him. It was a long week.

"Im color blind"

Last night Emery was so hilarious. After bathtime we bradded her hair and I told her we were going to do reading time. She said "hold on" she went to her room downstairs and came up in these homemade glasses and said she was color blind and needs theses glasses to read ( we have no idea where this came from except I wore glasses as a child and the girl in the book Junie B Jones I think has glasses also). Brian and I were laughing so hard. I stated before in one of my blogs that Emery had here own room downstairs and was sleeping in it fine. Well about 2 wks before I had Brecken she was sad and said she felt like everyone in the family was upstairs and she was left out, so I did not fight her and I set her up in a bed in Stella's room. She now sleeps on a blowup mattress that we slide under Stellas bed during the day and at night we pull it out. She is going to bed and I think the girls love to be together. She says she will go back downstairs to her bed when she is ready. I love how close my girls are and I hope they always look after one another. Brecken is such a easy baby right now. He goes to bed around 9:00 and wakes up at 5:00 to eat and back down until about 8:30. This has been so nice. I honestly think the lord gave me him to enjoy and not stress out the way I did with Stella. I think he is my last child and I truely am enjoying the time with him. He never really cries except when very hungry. I usually have to wake him during the day to change and feed him. His little personality is so fun to see. He laughed at Stella the other day and it was so stinken cute. I need to take videos of him more. I take him to the doctor on thursday and can't wait to see how much he has grown.

We had about 30 people at our home for the blessing of Brecken last Sunday. I said to my mom it would be fun to get a picture of the family. When we tried it was hilarious to get everyone in position and in place my sister Trish set the timer and it turned out pretty good I think. Brian was about ready to kill me since he knew people were getting irritated with taking so many but it will be a photo to remember. Thanks family for all the gifts and help for Breckens BIG DAY.
Brecken was blessed last Sunday and It turned out great. The girls understood this was his big day. Grandpa Steve blessed him and did a wonderful job. The whole family was so excited for this day.

Brian and I are so happy to have everyone at our home. This was a big celebration of Breckens birth and we are so happy to have a healthy baby.

Grandma Peggy made his outfit at the last minute and I love it. It was so hard to find boy outfits that were not so cheesy. Many outfits looked like a tux and did not look very comfortable for a baby. This outfit fit Brecken great and was soft and comfy.

Halloween 2008
We had so much fun this year. We ended up having our family over for Halloween and the party was fun to see our family cousins in costumes. The kids loved having the party at our home.
Brecken was Eeyore!

Emery was a vampire, Stella a ladybug. Maybe next year I will be more excited to dress up. Brian has an orange shirt that he only wears on Halloween. He says he is a pumpkin. I love it. The neighbors kids all look so cute and it was fun for the kids to trick-or-treat and see all their friends.

Emery had her school 1st grade performance and she did such a great job. You could see her so well. I asked her why none of the kids were really smiling and she said she was nervous she might get kicked off the stage because last year a boy acted out and the teacher pulled him off the stage. I had to laugh at that. She was so proud of herself and I loved hearing her sing the songs around the house for the past month.
