Park City

Brecken and Nika
Cute Brecken just hung out playing in the stroller while all the kids swam and played. He was truly amazing and was not a problem as always.

Grandpa Evans and Stella and Addison they loved hanging by grandpa.
The whole gang. Eleven grandchildren playing around grandpa in the pool. They had so much fun hanging out with each other.
Cute Daddy and his boy.
Mom trying to get some sun.

Park City

We went to Park City this past week and what a week. LOTS of swimming. Hiking and loving the cousins. The kids had such a fun time playing with cousins from Arizona. This was fun to hang out and become so close. Emery and her cousin Halle said that our families are very much the same. We act and like to do the same things. My sister -in-law has three children close in age to mine and also 2 girls and a boy. It was a blast.
The girls were like a fish in the water and Stella did such a great job swimming on her own. I am so proud of her.
We had fun at the Arts & craft house. Silly Stella.

These two were two peas in a pod. They truly enjoyed and did not want to leave each others side. They wanted their hair styled the same and the same outfit. They even swam the same. We could not separate them.
Emery and Halle
Poor Brecken was not quite ready for all this excitement. He was loving the time to cuddly when daddy was there.

A lot of firsts!

Brecken has had a lot of firsts this past month.

1. His first three Generations photo with daddy and grandpa Evans.
2. First time swimming. He loved it by the way. Over the 4th we went to my friends house and this was actually the 2nd time swimming he did not want to get out.
3. First time to the Zoo. I think we picked the hottest day of the year to go but boy it was a blast. This was also his first time on the train.
4. First time to sisters tumbling performance. He just sat on grandpas lap and enjoyed the show. He was dancing to all the loud music.
5. First time in a swing. He loved this.
Brecken has changed so much I cant believe he is almost 10 months. At his 9 month appt. He weighed in at a whopping 22 lbs and 30 1/4 inches. He is still in 98%. He is although not crawling and who knows if this is going to happen anytime soon. He is just content with sitting I guess. He could not be better. He loves to sleep and sometimes we have to go wake him up just to make sure he will not be up all night. He needs his crib although to sleep, I learned that the hard way this past weekend. I stopped breastfeeding him and he tolerated this well. I wish he would cuddle more with me but I guess it is ok. I love watching him interact with his sisters. His face lights up when he sees them. Stella can't get enough of him. She is constantly bugging him and he loves the attention for the most part. His nick name is "chunk" or "tank" we love our little buddy.
The girls performed in their tumbling about 2 wks ago I wanted to post fun pictures.
Stella has perfected her summer salt.
Emery is one of the loudest cheerleaders.
Posing prior to performance
Not camera shy.

Wild June

A lot has been going on the past month. I was able to go to California to my cousins wedding in Sonoma California at St. Francis Winery it was a blast and the wedding was truly beautiful. I left my kids home with Brian and enjoyed the long weekend with my Mom, Dad, brother and sisters. I really enjoyed the trip and had fun with my sisters although I am sure I got on their nerves. We can sometimes get really buggy when we all get together. I love them and would do it again.
At the wedding I truly missed my honey. We are about to celebrate our 10 year anniversarythis week and going to the wedding made me realize how much I adore Brian and how much he puts up with me. I hope this week we can enjoy our 10 year and be able to spend some time together. I would have loved to go on vacation but it is so hard to leave the kids. I know everyone thinks I am crazy and that it is easy just go, but for me it is hard.
We enjoyed going to the Temple open house and I was able to volunteer at the Temple this past month. This was a great opportunity and I am so happy to be able to help. I was located at the first aid station inside the Temple, this was great I made great friends and met lots of people. I only had one call for help during my 6 hour shift. I young girl felt faint. I guess about 30 min after I left the next shift had to call an ambulance for an elderly man. I felt so bad. This was great and I am so happy I could be apart of this exciting time. My girls loved the Temple and call it our Temple because we have watched it grow and have experienced it. I love when I drive past the temple and Stella says "look theirs our temple" this truly makes our day.

Well the girls had their tumbling performance and it was a hit. Emery did so good. She does cheer and tumbling and she truly enjoys it. She has only been in one year and is amazing. She was put in a different class mid year because she advanced so much. I love seeing her perform. Stella also performed and she has made huge improvements this past year also. She actually did the performance and was all smiles.
