ITS A NEW YEAR!!!!

I have been wanting to gather photos of the past year highlights and put them together. What a better place than on the blog. What a busy year. Brian and I have been married for 10+ years and have enjoyed life and all the obstacles we have been through. I loved to look back at this past year and hope that this new year will bring us love and peace in our family. We have been so blessed.
I wanted to set New Years resolutions but I am never good at following through with them. I have set mine to be * Stop drinking Diet Coke.(Although when I tried this I got a huge headache and had to have one). * Get Organized. * Use a softer voice when telling my children to not fight.( otherwise stop yelling).
We will see how it goes. So if you see me doing these things give me the look.

Here is a look at the past year. Good bye 2009.

January 2009

We enjoyed St. George while Emery was off track.
Brecken became my buddy. I love and adore everything about him.

February 2009

February was filled with swimming lessons for Stella, which she loved so much and made huge improvements.
The girls loved to help with Brecken and he was becoming more aware of his surroundings. He was so much fun and began to play with toys.
Emery was in 1st grade and Loved her teacher Miss White. She learned so much this year.

March 2009

Emery started loosing teeth left and right. Now she has a beautiful smile and enjoys having her front teeth back.
Dr Seuss day at school.
Aquarium with cousins. I don't think they should be climbing on the props. But they had fun.

April 2009

April we spent going to St. George for Easter and the kids hunted for ducks at the pool. Morgan won the grand prize.

Cousins at Easter.
Stella managed to burn her arm on the flat iron this was not fun.
Brecken started to enjoy solid foods and did pretty well.
Stella learned to ride a bike.

May 2009

May was fun hanging out in the backyard making smores. Yum Yum
Stella Graduated from Preschool.
We love Miss Karen her teacher

Swimming with friends was a great memory.
Lots of fishing with dad.
Sometimes the girls became tired of fishing but they have learned to enjoy this.

June 2009

June was a exciting month also. Emery turned 7 years old. She went to Build-a-bear workshop and classic skating.
Temple open house was also a highlight of the month.
Mom went to California for a cousin wedding. What a nice break.
Lots of snow cone stands.
Girls had tumbling performance. I was so proud of them both.

July 2009

July 2009 was awesome. I hardly took any photos because we were so busy. Fireworks with neighbors was a blast.

Brecken loved the water
The girls got goofier and goofier.
Emery started 2nd grade.
Family photo shoot.

August 2009

August this past year went by to quick. Stella was in swimming lessons and enjoyed them very much. She also started Preschool. Well not really started this will be her third year. She actually is a pro at it.

BRING IT ON MISS KAREN

September

Stella turned 5 years old. She is a sweetheart and a crazy child also. She now runs in circles around 6:00 pm almost every night. I think she needs to get the wiggles out. This is quite funny to watch. Although I wonder and pray when will the madness stop.
Brecken turned one and didn't really know what to do with all the attention.
He did get moved up to a bigger car seat and actually gets to see the road now. He was truly happy.
Stella managed to fine and pick up every bug in the yard. She had fun exploring and I would laugh when I could hear the kids all playing outside and one kid would say "We need Stella to pick up the bug." No one would dare to pick up the bugs except Stella would say "OK I will do it".

Brecken loved the swing.
Many countless hours were spent in the back yard. I loved sitting and watching the kids play. Every Sunday Brian would cook Dutch Oven dinner. and the kids would run and play. This was by far one of the things I love to do is hang out at home and watch the kids playing in the back yard. Brian spent countless hours jumping on the trampoline and playing with the kids in the back yard. I loved to watch.

October

Early in October we discover the Zoo and the new baby Elephant. This was such a nice day.

Emery played in her first piano recital. She did great and although was very nervous I was very proud. I took piano lessons a child but can't really play. Maybe one of my girls will become good at this. Her teacher loaned me a book to practice and I am stuck on the sharps and flats. I think that's what they are called. Maybe Emery could teach me.

Emery we are proud of you and how much you have grown up.

October

October was a busy month. Emery was off track and we enjoyed Thanksgiving Point with cousins and grandparents.
I think Emery climbed the rock wall for just over 45 minutes. I tried it once and was sweating and felt like I had a great workout. Man that girl is athletic.
Brecken managed to crawl around the house naked from the waist down. He is a nightmare to change and usually takes two people. He loved hanging with dad watching football and eating chips.
We had some neighbor kids over for cookie decorating and the kids had a lot of fun.
Breckens diet really started to expand to just about anything you put in front of him.
Garner Village the witches was another fun time.
Things got a little bit out of control at the end. Emery started kissing all the witched. I don't think that the people at Gardner village really liked this. Or maybe Emery is just to grown up to find witches around a villi age. She always needs to spice up the party. It is always fun with Emery.

The horse ride was a hit. Emery at first didn't want to ride because she wanted the horse untied and let loose to ride. She is a thrill seeker. I am in trouble when she is a teenager.

Emery at the school carnival. She is very competitive and I think she was bound and determined to win the limbo.
Carving Pumpkins.
Witches Brew
Family picture. Brian always seems to wear the famous ORANGE shirt every year.
