Missing Teeth - Getting Teeth- Riding Bikes!!!

  1. Don't you just love naked Babies! I am constantly telling the girls I want to eat him up for dinner he is so cute. They both cry and say "NO mom you can't eat him we love him" I love seeing the look on their faces, like I would really eat him. He is fun to wrestle with and munch on the chubbiness.

Emery is missing several teeth and can't wait for new ones to grow in. This is a daily discussion. She is having fun competing with her friend Taylor to see if he grows his front teeth in before her.
WOW! Stella one day a few weeks ago decided to have her training wheels taken off after one broke and I was unable to fix she continued to ride with a broken wheel then one day said mom take off the training wheels. I said ok then I padded her up and demanded a helmet, thinking she would just fall a thousand times. Oh no she was up a riding right after the training wheels were off. She probably was well beyond this. I ran in and got the camera and she was still riding around the circle. The next few days were spent with her asking me "Now who does not know yet that I can ride a two-wheeler?" and we called and told everyone. It was fun to see her shine with happiness.
YES! We are finaly getting some hair. I think we have the beginning stages of a Fo-Hawk?
And Hurray! We now love food. It has taken several months to get our little guy to eat baby food. Hated this at first but now loving it and the highchair is in use. He has also advanced to a bigger car seat still rear facing but loving the new ride. And yes he does now have 2 little teeth.

Fun Easter

We went to St. George over Easter and went swimming the girls had such a fun time. Stella just finished swim lessons and was excited to show her skills to everyone. It was actually fun to see her swim and not have a death grip on Brian or I. Emery is such a great swimmer and had fun playing with Daddy.

Brecken is now seven months old and is growing like a weed. His personality is awesome and he makes our family so much fun. He enjoys he goofy sisters in his face constantly and playing with him. He does get tired and still takes really good naps. He had his first ear infection about a month ago and was pretty miserable at night for about 4 nights. Poor thing. But he is back to his old self. I don't want him to grow anymore. His 6 month apt. he was a whopping 20 lbs.
Easter morning the kids had fun opening up the baskets and were very happy. About one hour after opening up their baskets the girls went on a hike with daddy and caught a lizard. We now have a pet lizard. Brian went to Petco to get supplies and the lady that worked their said that was a $5,000.oo fine to catch a Lizard. She stated she would not turn him in since this was his first offence. But we now know not to catch a lizard. Brian stated on the way home "I wonder if when a lizard runs across the street and a car hits it is that a $5,000.00 fine also." Well anyway we will take care of it and return it when we go back.
Stella cut her hair shorter and is a little swimmer lately. She is having a blast and can't wait for summer when she can swim outside more.
Brecken is doing well. He is sitting up and playing with toys. He enjoys life and seem very content with life.

Brecken is now 4 months

Brecken is now 4 months old and is wonderful. He has been so easy. He goes along for the ride. Sometimes he is easy to forget about when you have two other kids starving for attention. I have tried to make a special effort to tells the girls I need to sit and hold Brecken and play with him and they will have to wait. He is not sleeping all night like he was. I think he is just going through changes and developmentally his is right on schedule. I went back to work on Jan 3 and he has been great at night for Brian. He says Brecken gets up at 1:30 and at 6:30 to eat. I pump at work and he is taking the bottle great for Brian as long as it is breast milk. Not so good with formula. The transition has not been bad for everyone. I think that as time goes on it might become more difficult. I go to work at 6 pm and come home around 6:45am. I usually feed Brecken and then I am off to bed. Brian is so helpful in that he stays home until 12 noon and then goes to work. The schedule works for us and I feel like we are a team. I work two shift a week and it is ok.
Brecken has some of the cutest expressions.

He still spits up a lot. But this doesn't seem to bother him. He is a lot more alert this past month and actually will stay awake long enough to play for a hour or so.

He still is enjoying tummy time. My girls cried the minute I put them on their belly. Brecken will last about 20 min and then puts his face down in the pile of slobber and cries.

Brecken now is 26 1/4 in tall -90%
18lb 4 oz big, very big -95%
head 43 cm -70%
He is growing fine and I can't keep up on the clothes, he is in and out of them very quickly. He loves hanging out with daddy and watching the Utes. What a game!!

Christmas Morning

The snow was amazing and the kids have had fun playing in it. I am not so sure Stella is have much fun in this picture. I think her bottom is cold.

Stella loved riding around the house with her new scooter.

Brecken was happy just watching the chaos.

Emery was having the best time. She liked to control which present was opened first. The girls woke up around 8:45 and we took our time opening presents this was the first year they did not just tear into everything. The actually took time playing and looking at each gift.

They both had great attitudes about Christmas and it was the best watching the looks on their faces. They were so happy. Emery later that day said. "I was kind of good and kind of not so good, I don't think Santa should have got me so much. I think some of it should be for next year also, so I will try to be good all year" It was so funny to see her worry about if she was good or not. We told her to just go and have fun with the toys.

Busy Christmas

Christmas Eve at Grandma Kathy's was great this year. Emery love everything she received and the kids learned about the true meaning of Christmas. We played BINGO for the exchange and it was a blast.
Our little nativity. The girls had so much fun dressing up and acting out the story of Jesus.

My three little angles.

Aunt Janie surprised us and showed up at the family party. This was exciting for the girls to see her again. They are always talking about her and Emery remembers so much about Janie and her home in California. Emery was about 4 when we went to visit her. We love you Janie.

Well Brian also turned 33 years old in December. With his birthday a week before Christmas he was such a good sport. We made him a big cookie because he hates cake. We took him to dinner at his favorite restaurant. He had picked out something the week prior for his birthday. But that night I gave him a t-shirt from Harmon's no less that my sister could not believe I bought it at Harmon's. He loved it and he is so easy to please. He never makes a big deal about his birthday. Hopefully this was fun enough. We love you babe!!

This is the Christmas card I just sent out I was a little slow this year but I think they turned out. This layout is a little different then the ones I sent out. I love sending cards and receiving cards from others. I am getting excited to spend time with family over the next few weeks. Hope everyone has a great Holiday.

Stella loves to watch The Grinch. She begs everyday to watch it, so when we ran into the real grinch I had to get a photo. We love you Stella.

Merry Christmas !!!

This year christmas has been hard for me. I have not really been in the mood to buy or to decorate. I pulled out about 1/4 of my christmas decorations because the kids use all of them at toys and move all the decorations into different spots. I set up the trees and it took me a few days to do so. I still have things I want to set up but have not done so. I took the kids to see Santa last Saturday and this really got me in the mood. I have all my shopping done and wrapped everything this past week. I love watching the kids get so excited for Santa. Emery jumped right up on Santa's lap and was not scared to see him. She told him the one thing she wanted and then told him that if he wanted he could get her a suprise present if he wanted. Stella was so cute she climbed up on his lap and when he asked her what she wanted she looked down at the ground and said in a soft voice that she wanted a big girl doll. I don't think Santa really heard her but he looked at me to see if I understood. It was so cute. This morning we went to see Santa again and Emery asked me what I was going to ask him for and I told her I told Santa to give my gift to Emery and Stella. Emery was worried and said that she would tell Santa the same thing today so that I could get something. This was so precious to see your own child worried about mom and dad. Maybe she is getting what Christmas is all about. I am now so excited for Christmas and can't wait to see the look on my childrens faces, and to be able to teach them more about Christmas and the true meaning.
