A lot of firsts!

Brecken has had a lot of firsts this past month.

1. His first three Generations photo with daddy and grandpa Evans.
2. First time swimming. He loved it by the way. Over the 4th we went to my friends house and this was actually the 2nd time swimming he did not want to get out.
3. First time to the Zoo. I think we picked the hottest day of the year to go but boy it was a blast. This was also his first time on the train.
4. First time to sisters tumbling performance. He just sat on grandpas lap and enjoyed the show. He was dancing to all the loud music.
5. First time in a swing. He loved this.
Brecken has changed so much I cant believe he is almost 10 months. At his 9 month appt. He weighed in at a whopping 22 lbs and 30 1/4 inches. He is still in 98%. He is although not crawling and who knows if this is going to happen anytime soon. He is just content with sitting I guess. He could not be better. He loves to sleep and sometimes we have to go wake him up just to make sure he will not be up all night. He needs his crib although to sleep, I learned that the hard way this past weekend. I stopped breastfeeding him and he tolerated this well. I wish he would cuddle more with me but I guess it is ok. I love watching him interact with his sisters. His face lights up when he sees them. Stella can't get enough of him. She is constantly bugging him and he loves the attention for the most part. His nick name is "chunk" or "tank" we love our little buddy.
The girls performed in their tumbling about 2 wks ago I wanted to post fun pictures.
Stella has perfected her summer salt.
Emery is one of the loudest cheerleaders.
Posing prior to performance
Not camera shy.

Wild June

A lot has been going on the past month. I was able to go to California to my cousins wedding in Sonoma California at St. Francis Winery it was a blast and the wedding was truly beautiful. I left my kids home with Brian and enjoyed the long weekend with my Mom, Dad, brother and sisters. I really enjoyed the trip and had fun with my sisters although I am sure I got on their nerves. We can sometimes get really buggy when we all get together. I love them and would do it again.
At the wedding I truly missed my honey. We are about to celebrate our 10 year anniversarythis week and going to the wedding made me realize how much I adore Brian and how much he puts up with me. I hope this week we can enjoy our 10 year and be able to spend some time together. I would have loved to go on vacation but it is so hard to leave the kids. I know everyone thinks I am crazy and that it is easy just go, but for me it is hard.
We enjoyed going to the Temple open house and I was able to volunteer at the Temple this past month. This was a great opportunity and I am so happy to be able to help. I was located at the first aid station inside the Temple, this was great I made great friends and met lots of people. I only had one call for help during my 6 hour shift. I young girl felt faint. I guess about 30 min after I left the next shift had to call an ambulance for an elderly man. I felt so bad. This was great and I am so happy I could be apart of this exciting time. My girls loved the Temple and call it our Temple because we have watched it grow and have experienced it. I love when I drive past the temple and Stella says "look theirs our temple" this truly makes our day.

Well the girls had their tumbling performance and it was a hit. Emery did so good. She does cheer and tumbling and she truly enjoys it. She has only been in one year and is amazing. She was put in a different class mid year because she advanced so much. I love seeing her perform. Stella also performed and she has made huge improvements this past year also. She actually did the performance and was all smiles.

Emery turned 7 on June 1 st she was so excited and it is so fun to see her grow up and become such a cute fun girl. She is so loved by her friends and everyone around her. Emery once said to me that she does not have very many friends and for the next week when I dropped her off their was about 5-7 girls that would yell "hey their is Emery!!!" and she would run over to them. I told her I felt like she has lots of friends, she said I know mom I don't know what I was thinking. She loves school and her teacher is one of the best. Emery has made such a difference in her reading at school, she is excellent at math, science and spelling. This year I have watched her go from being a little girl to growing up and becoming mature and responsible. I hate to see her grow up so fast. She is like a adult to talk to and I love having her in my life.
Classic Skating was the place of choice. It was fun to see her go crazy!!
The night before her grandma Kathy gave her a piano. Emery has really caught onto playing the piano even without lessons yet. Her grandmother and her play a duet that is so fun. Emery learned how to play a couple of songs without lessons and in one night of playing with grandma.
I hope to put her in lessons and see what happens.
She was excited for her big day.

The cake was fun to make and she even helped.

Preschool Graduation!!!

Stella has graduated from Preschool this year and she was so excited. She has learned sooo much this past year. I am so proud of her and her willingness to learn and play well with other students in the class. Miss Karen is her name and she is excellent with the kids. Stella has learned all her letters and sounds and numbers she is even beginning to read small words. She has such a strong desire to learn and loves playing school with big sis Emery.

Grandma Kathy brought flowers and a big stuffed animal dog for Stella. She was so excited for this and she thought the entire day was to be centered around her and all her achievements.
She will not go to Kindergarten until next year because she misses the deadline by 10 days. But she will be very ready for next year!!! She loves Miss Karen and can't wait for the pre-kindergarten in the fall.

Missing Teeth - Getting Teeth- Riding Bikes!!!

  1. Don't you just love naked Babies! I am constantly telling the girls I want to eat him up for dinner he is so cute. They both cry and say "NO mom you can't eat him we love him" I love seeing the look on their faces, like I would really eat him. He is fun to wrestle with and munch on the chubbiness.

Emery is missing several teeth and can't wait for new ones to grow in. This is a daily discussion. She is having fun competing with her friend Taylor to see if he grows his front teeth in before her.
WOW! Stella one day a few weeks ago decided to have her training wheels taken off after one broke and I was unable to fix she continued to ride with a broken wheel then one day said mom take off the training wheels. I said ok then I padded her up and demanded a helmet, thinking she would just fall a thousand times. Oh no she was up a riding right after the training wheels were off. She probably was well beyond this. I ran in and got the camera and she was still riding around the circle. The next few days were spent with her asking me "Now who does not know yet that I can ride a two-wheeler?" and we called and told everyone. It was fun to see her shine with happiness.
YES! We are finaly getting some hair. I think we have the beginning stages of a Fo-Hawk?
And Hurray! We now love food. It has taken several months to get our little guy to eat baby food. Hated this at first but now loving it and the highchair is in use. He has also advanced to a bigger car seat still rear facing but loving the new ride. And yes he does now have 2 little teeth.

Fun Easter

We went to St. George over Easter and went swimming the girls had such a fun time. Stella just finished swim lessons and was excited to show her skills to everyone. It was actually fun to see her swim and not have a death grip on Brian or I. Emery is such a great swimmer and had fun playing with Daddy.

Brecken is now seven months old and is growing like a weed. His personality is awesome and he makes our family so much fun. He enjoys he goofy sisters in his face constantly and playing with him. He does get tired and still takes really good naps. He had his first ear infection about a month ago and was pretty miserable at night for about 4 nights. Poor thing. But he is back to his old self. I don't want him to grow anymore. His 6 month apt. he was a whopping 20 lbs.
Easter morning the kids had fun opening up the baskets and were very happy. About one hour after opening up their baskets the girls went on a hike with daddy and caught a lizard. We now have a pet lizard. Brian went to Petco to get supplies and the lady that worked their said that was a $5,000.oo fine to catch a Lizard. She stated she would not turn him in since this was his first offence. But we now know not to catch a lizard. Brian stated on the way home "I wonder if when a lizard runs across the street and a car hits it is that a $5,000.00 fine also." Well anyway we will take care of it and return it when we go back.
Stella cut her hair shorter and is a little swimmer lately. She is having a blast and can't wait for summer when she can swim outside more.
Brecken is doing well. He is sitting up and playing with toys. He enjoys life and seem very content with life.
